Titanium alloy nuts and bolts for aerospace

Aerospace

In aviation every gram counts, but saving weight must never cost strength. That is exactly why titanium alloys are used: they are as strong as steel and far lighter.

We make custom titanium alloy nuts and bolts for aircraft and aerospace applications. Thread type, head form and length follow your drawing, and every part is checked for dimensions and surface finish after machining.

What we make for this industry

  • Titanium alloy nuts
  • Titanium alloy bolts
  • Lightweight aluminium fasteners
  • Cap nuts and blind nuts
  • Custom washers
  • Bushings and spacers

Titanium takes patience: it hates heat and wears tools fast. Get the speed, feed and coolant right, though, and you get a part that is as strong as it is light.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we hear most. If yours is not here, just message us.

Why is titanium hard to machine?

Titanium conducts heat poorly and wears cutting tools quickly. With the right tooling, speeds and cooling, we overcome this and produce consistent parts.

Which thread types can you produce?

We can machine metric, imperial and special thread profiles to your drawing.

Which materials besides titanium are possible?

We also use aluminium where weight matters and 316 stainless steel where corrosion resistance is needed.

Take a photo of your part and send it to us

You do not need a technical drawing. A photo of your sample and its rough dimensions are enough to get started — we will get back to you quickly.
